Love

Love is difficult to define yet easy to recognize. The more of it you give away, the more of it you have. The less you demand of love, the more it will bring to you. The fewer conditions you place on love, the more perfectly it will suit you, and the more meaningful it will become.

Love can make a powerful, positive difference whenever it is present. And love can work its magic in every corner of your life. Give love to another and you forge a connection that empowers you both. Love the world around you and it will become more beautiful as a result.

Love what you do and you become considerably more effective. Add love to knowledge and you’ll have wisdom. Love life itself and you’ll always find ways to give real meaning to every moment.

Listen to life

Change-Your-Life

Listen to life, and to those who are living life, without judgment, without fear and without any preconceived agenda. Just listen and experience.

Truly listen to what others tell you without being distracted by thoughts of how you will reply. Listen, for there is so much you can hear.

Seek not to argue, explain, impress or convince. Listen so that you can more fully understand.

Listen to learn and to know. Listen to make a deep and valuable connection.

Listen, not just with your mind but with your heart as well. Listen not just to the words and sounds but also to the meanings they convey.

Each new day, all of life joins together in a new and beautiful song. Listen, and live the richness

Ralph Marston

Being Positive in Good Times and in Bad Times

wpid-facebook_15914071731

Though there is so much talk about positive thinking, there is misunderstanding of what it really is. Being positive doesn’t mean ignoring what is happening around you and living within some kind of a “positive bubble”.

You cannot expect someone going through problems or disasters, or living in difficult circumstances, to ignore his/her current condition and start thinking positively right away.

It is easier to think positively when in comfortable situations, but not when in the midst of problems, disasters or a harsh situation, unless you are trained to do so.

Being positive, like any other skill, requires gradual development and training. No one can speak a new foreign language, before studying and practicing for some time. A person, who is not trained, cannot lift heavy weights, run or swim like a trained athlete.

Saying that everything is going to be all right, forcing yourself to smile with no reason, or ignoring problems and difficulties, without trying to solve them, is not being positive. It is being unpractical.

Positive people expect the best and believe that a bad situation would improve, but they are also practical people. They act, not just daydream. They look for opportunities and for solutions, instead of doing nothing and blaming everybody for their troubles. They don’t dwell on their problems, live in self-pity and believe that they are victims.

When going through bad times, faced by disasters, misfortune or hardships, what good can you gain by becoming despondent, negative and unhappy? Why let circumstances and situations affect your moods and state of mind? Being positive will not make circumstances and condition disappear, as if by magic, but with a positive attitude you will be more in control of your state of mind, your reactions and your behavior, and therefore, in a better position to improve the situation.

You can dwell on the problems in your life and keep suffering, but you can also make a choice to focus on solutions, improvement and success, and refuse to let circumstances affect your mind too much.

You cannot always control external circumstances, but you can change your attitude and the way you feel.

It is not easy for people in difficult situations to think positively, and therefore, it is a good idea to learn to do so every day, all the time. This will improve this ability when in difficult situations.

By being positive you do not allow problems and difficulties to overpower you and affect your mind and moods, and therefore, you feel happier and suffer less.

Even in the midst of war people can think of peace. Even in the midst of disasters people can see light and seek solace. This requires a positive frame of mind

Positive thinking means to be hopeful, and hope brings light and happiness into the soul.

Life is Good

1359816554209253

Life is difficult, life is unfair, life is challenging and sometimes painful. And life is so very good.

There are frustrations, tragedies, disappointments, setbacks, heartbreaks, and absurdities. The simple joy of being outweighs them all.

Life is good, because within its realm, anything is possible. Life is good, because no matter how far you fall, there is always a way to climb back up again.

You can complain  and worry about all the problems in your life, but you’ll be wasting your time. Or, you can choose to focus on why and how life is so good, and on what you can do to take that goodness and make it even better.

Not only is life good, it’s uniquely good for you in your very own way. The possibilities for expressing your purpose are limited only by your imagination.

So Live Life, Live Everyday with a Purpose, Make the Day Yours, Remember YOU are in Control

Your hopes, dreams and aspirations are legitimate. They are trying to take you airborne, above the clouds, above the storms, if you only let them.

Inner Changes Create Outer Changes

Inner-Changes-Bring-Outer-Changes

The quality of your life depends to a large extent on the quality of your emotional and mental life.

If you are lazy, worry too much, and afraid to try new things, you stick to the same spot.

If you are not afraid to change your thinking patterns, your life will soon change accordingly.

Your habitual thoughts, and the content of your subconscious mind, determine your behavior, and the way you act and react.

When you change the way you feel and think about things, and the way you react to people and situations, your actions and behavior change accordingly. These changes in you, create changes in your external, outer life.

If you are the worrying type, you are probably afraid of changes, and prefer to stick to the same kind of life that you know well. You see other people improving their life and achieving success, but you do not follow their steps, though you might wish to. If you do nothing, you will always stay where you are.

If you do not change your thinking patterns, and cannot visualize your life differently from how they are now, you will go on living the same kind of life, day after day. It might never occur to you that you can visualize a different, improved reality.

In this situation, your thinking pattern, your mindset, limits you. You constantly see in your mind’s eye the same day-to-day reality, and consequently, your conscious and subconscious minds keep being programmed to see and expect the same reality every day, and to create, attract and experience the same kind of experiences and activities.

Suppose you realize that your outer reality is shaped to a great extent by your inner world. This realization will make you to believe that you can make changes your life. You will start envisioning the kind of life you want to live.

If you keep thinking and visualizing a different and better kind of life, soon these thoughts will sink into your subconscious mind, and would motivate, inspire and energize you to take action in this direction.

Inner changes bring outer changes.

  • The new thoughts, will bring new expectations and hopes, and would change the way you view your outer world.
  • The inner changes in you, will gradually affect your outer life.
  • Your behavior, and the way you act will change.
  • You will have more energy, ambition and inner strength.
  • You will get over your fear of change, and be ready to take action to change and improve your life, in accordance with the changes happening within you.

All this requires some inner work and effort, and the use of a few techniques and exercises, like visualization, affirmations, willpower and self discipline and motivation.

Remember, inner changes bring outer changes.

Tips for Happiness in Daily Life

InspirationalQuotes.Club-life-choice-change-empower-true-positive-happy-happiness-inspirational-encouraging-Venkat-Desireddy
You can make your life happier. It is a matter of choice.

It is your attitude that makes you feel happy or unhappy.

We meet various situations every day, and some of them may not contribute to happiness. However, we can choose to keep thinking about the unhappy events, and we can choose to refuse to think about them, and instead, think about and relish the happy moments.

.All of us go through various situations and circumstances, but we do not have to let them influence our reactions and feelings.

If we let outer events influence our moods, we become their slaves. We lose our freedom. We let our happiness be determined by outer forces. On the other hand, we can free ourselves from outer influences. We can choose to be happy, and we can do a lot to add happiness to our lives.

What is happiness?

It is a feeling of inner peace and satisfaction. It is usually experienced, when there are no worries, fears or obsessing thoughts. This usually happens, when we do something we love to do, or when we get, win, gain, or achieve something that we value. It seems to be the outcome of positive events, but it actually comes from the inside, triggered by external events.

For most people, happiness seems fleeting and temporary, because they allow external circumstances to affect it. One of the best ways to keep it, is by gaining inner peace through daily meditation. As the mind becomes more peaceful, it becomes easier to choose the happiness habit.

Tips for Happiness in Daily Life:

1) Endeavor to change the way you look at things. Always look at the bright side. The mind might drag you to think about negativity and difficulties. Don’t let it. Look at the good and positive side of every situation.

2) Think about solutions, not about problems.

3) Listen to relaxing, uplifting music.

4) Watch funny comedies that make you laugh.

5) Each day, devote some time to reading a few pages of an inspiring book or article.

6) Watch your thoughts. Whenever you catch yourself thinking negative thoughts, start thinking of pleasant things.

7) Always look at what you have done and not at what you haven’t.

Sometimes, you begin the day with the desire to accomplish several objectives. At the end of the day, you might feel frustrated and unhappy, because you haven’t been able to do all of those things.

Look at what you have done, not at what you have not been able to do. Often, even if you have accomplished a lot during the day, you let yourself feel frustrated, because of some minor tasks you didn’t accomplish.

Sometimes, you spend all day successfully carrying out many plans, but instead of feeling happy and satisfied, you look at what was not accomplished and feel unhappy. It is unfair toward yourself.

8) Each day do something good for yourself. It can be something small, such buying a book, eating something you love, watching your favorite program on TV, going to a movie, or just having a stroll on the beach.

9) Each day do at least one act to make others happy.

This can be a kind word, helping your colleagues, stopping your car at the crossroad to let people cross, giving your seat in a bus to someone else, or giving a small present to someone you love. The possibilities are infinite.

When you make someone happy, you become happy, and then people try to make you happy.

10) Always expect happiness.

11) Do not envy people who are happy. On the contrary, be happy for their happiness.

12) Associate with happy people, and try to learn from them to be happy. Remember, happiness is contagious.

13) Do your best to stay detached, when things do not proceed as intended and desired. Detachment will help you stay calm and control your moods and reactions. Detachment is not indifference. It is the acceptance of the good and the bad and staying balanced. Detachment has much to do with inner peace, and inner peace is conductive to happiness.

14) Smile more often.
